body and lifestyle.
My name is Dwayne and I am a serving soldier who has done over 20 years in the British Army. I love keeping fit and exploring new ways to exercise and stay healthy, often rediscovering old methods that worked in the past but have been phased out for one reason or the other. My experience in the forces have taught me how to motivate individuals during particularly low times and I am always trying to learn more about the brain and what triggers habits in people.
As of late I see an increase in “influencers” selling gimmicks, pills and potions to people that don’t understand the basics of their own body. My aim is to act as a filter in which people are educated properly in fat loss, muscle gain, exercise, health, longevity, stress management and a host of other things. I hope to form a strong community in which we could grow together and give each other support not only in the form of fitness but in day to day life.
What I focus on
Everyone is made differently so to begin with I focus on the items listed below to ensure we have a foundation set. In the process, I will help you to understand why these things are important so implementing them will be easier. My aim is to get you to your goal and ensure that it is sustainable enough for you to still enjoy your life.
The more active you are, the healthier your joints will be and you can keep your weight under control.
Having a good muscle base means you will have a higher metabolism. Your body will in turn burn more calories at rest.
A balanced diet ensures that your body gets the essential nutrients that it needs. It also means you can enjoy your favourite foods without feeling guilty.
Most of your recovery will happen during rest. Sleep enhances muscle recovery and also helps your brain to repair and recharge.
